Yarra One marks EcoWorld International’s second Australian project, having last year completed West Village in Sydney’s Parramatta.
The multi-national property developer EcoWorld International has completed construction on its $250 million South Yarra development, Yarra One.
The 26 level tower, designed by Fender Katsalidis, homes 247 one, two and three bedroom apartments. With settlement currently underway, the project is around 80 per cent sold. There were a mix of buyers, but downsizers and investors saw the greater attraction to the building.
There are also three penthouses, two of which have sold to downsizers.

EcoWorld International Australia CEO Mr Yap Foo Leong said it’s an exciting time for the company after what has been a challenging year.
“Yarra One is a great success story for EcoWorld International,” Mr Leong said.
“Being our maiden project in Melbourne, we are thrilled with the result particularly given several headwinds along the way; stamp duty changes and COVID-lockdown delays namely.”
Builders Hickory constructed the Fender Katsalidis-designed tower which was designed with pure geometry, circular, elliptical and rectilinear patterns.
The Claremont Street atrium is one of the most striking elements of the building.
Fender Katsalidis considered the bustling, popular laneways that Melbourne is famous for in the design of the atrium which features a number of shopping outlets.
“The timber look trellis enclosing the atrium is a signature feature that acts to create a sense of retreat and allows light to filter within the space throughout the day resulting in an ever-changing environment,” Fender Katsalidis Director Nicky Drobis said.
EcoWorld have considered the sustainability even further than the four-star green building achieved. Residents will have access to a Victorian first, sustainable car-sharing model in a multi-residential setting with exclusive use of a brand new Tesla.
“Yarra One already boasts a phenomenal walk score of 92, with the car-share adding another layer of sustainability and future-proofing,” Mr Leong added.
Purchasers also had the option to include a charging point within their designated car space.
